Minimum Orders

Domestic Orders– Minimum order of $75 not including shipping, handling fees or taxes.

International Orders – Minimum order of $300 for Proforma payment / $75 for credit card orders.

TDI reserves the right to accept or reject any order.

Handtool Orders

Handtools: Tweezers, Replacement Tweezer Tips, Scissors, Wire Cutters, Diamond Scribes, Micro-Mini Tools, Micro Shears, Peek Probes, Pliers, and Vacuum Pick-Up Tools.

Stock items ship in 2-3 business days.

For all non-stock, special order items, full payment is charged at the time of order.Please allow a minimum of 4-6 weeks for your order to ship. An Estimated Shipping Date will be sent with the order confirmation and Proforma invoice receipt.

All handtool orders are shipped separately from equipment if they are on the same order. Separate shipping charges will apply to each shipment. 

Equipment Orders

Equipment: Acrylic and Stainless-Steel Desiccators, Bonding Wire Storage, SMT Reel Storage, Wafer Storage, Waffle Pack Storage, Glove Boxes, Nitro-Save, Chairs, Stools, Workstations and Lift Carts. 

Payment in full is required for in-stock Cabinets.

Half-Down Payment is required at the time of order for non-stocked items. Customers will receive a Remaining Balance notification prior to the order being shipped. 

The Remaining Balance notification will include the actual Shipping Cost if the customer has selected to pre-pay the Shipping Charges.

Standard lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. Actual lead time is dependent on current backlog when order is received. An Estimated Shipping Date will be sent with the order confirmation and Proforma invoice receipt.

All equipment is shipped separately from handtool orders if they are on the same order. Separate shipping charges will apply to each shipment. 

Please note: Orders need to be paid in full prior to shipping.

Shipping/Handling Fees

Domestic Orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. TDI does not ship to residential addresses.  For special shipping and/or handling requirements, additional charges may apply. 

International Orders – International handtool orders will have a $15 export processing fee. International equipment orders will have a $25 export processing fee. Customers must provide freight carrier name and account number when placing an order. Any import duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.  Minimum order of $300 for Proforma payment.  

Freight Terms

Domestic Orders – Freight terms are either collect on customer’s account or pre-pay and add at the time of order. 

International Orders – All international shipments are FOB Tucson, AZ with freight/customs/duties collect.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is added to all AZ, CA, CO, FL, KY, MD, OH, PA and WA customers unless Tax Exempt Form specifying that the product being purchased is exempt has been provided.

Payment

Domestic Orders – Domestic orders may be charged to your MasterCard, VISA, American Express or with already approved credit terms of Net 30 Days. Credit card will be charged at the time of shipment for all in stock equipment and handtools.

International Orders – International orders may be charged to your MasterCard, VISA or American Express with a $75 minimum, or Proforma invoice with a $300 minimum.

Prices are in US dollar amounts and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct misprints.

Returns

Equipment 

  • All equipment orders are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • No Cancellations once order is received and accepted.
  • Damage or discrepancy/claims must be made within 10 days of invoice.

Handtools 

  • No Cancellations once order is received and accepted.
  • Damage or discrepancy/claims must be made within 10 days of invoice.
  • No returns after 30 days.
  • Contact TDI for return authorization – TDI RMA# required. RMA# valid for 14 days.
  • All returns will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee for handtools.
  • Products must be returned prepaid in original packaging and in unused condition.
  • No partial returns on orders less than $110 (Shipping excluded).
  • There will be a TDI inspection of returned merchandise prior to final credit approval. Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Special order and custom items including Teflon coated tweezers may not be returned.

Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless stated otherwise in writing. We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors on quotations.

Warranties / Manufacturer’s Warranties / Limitations of Liability

TDI does not warrant any product for merchantability or fitness for use for a particular purpose.

Usage

TDI handtools are not FDA approved for medical, personal or cosmetic use. These tools are used strictly for the electronics assembly industry.  TDI does not sell to individuals or ship to residential addresses. TDI is strictly a business-to-business supplier for the electronics assembly industry & labs.
