“TD”® Polymer Material Chemical Compatibility Chart

“TD”® Polymer Material Chemical Compatibility Chart

The chart below provides an alphabetical list of chemicals along with our best general recommendations regarding their compatibility with “TD”® Polymer Compound. The criteria for “Acceptable” compatibility ratings are the expectation that “TD”® Polymer Compound would retain at leas 50% of original mechanical strength and exhibit less than 3% swell after exposure to the chemical for one year at 93°C (200°F). Although we caution against extensive exposure to some chemicals at elevated temperatures, brief exposure to those chemicals at elevated temperatures, or long-term exposure to those chemicals at near ambient temperatures should be acceptable. “Avoid Exposure” recommendations indicate that we do not recommend using “TD”® Polymer Compound in service with those chemicals except under the limitations cited.
